The diversity of modern steel production
An area almost five times the territory of Monaco, where there are as many people working as live in a small German town. The total road network equals the distance between Duisburg and Cologne, and the cities of Duisburg and Hamburg could be linked up with the tracks used for freight traffic. About 12 million tonnes of steel per year are produced here. All this in the northern part of Duisburg, at thyssenkrupp Steel Europe. We introduce visitors to steel manufacturing, our products and innovations. Our guests experience the broad diversity of modern steel production close up and in the flesh.
