The new MSV-Arena, which will be finished by the end of 2004, will be the main venue and scene of the opening ceremony. Rugby as an official sports and American Football as an invitational sports will take place here.

There is room for 31.000 spectators, who will find 22.400 seats and 7.200 standing rooms. Additionally, there are 1.000 business-seats, 30 VIP boxes (300 seats), 46 spaces for the disabled and 108 seats for media representatives. Parking is not possible during the World Games 2005. Parking areas for press are reserved at all venues. With a Ticket people will have a free public transport.
