Indoor-Trial is a rather attractive kind of sports to the spectators, for it is well-known to be exciting: Rapid motorcycle rides over rough and smooth, going up and down the boards guarantee high tension. The obstacles differ depending on the venue, be it cascades, rocks, tree trunks or scaffolds. The competitions require a high degree of physical fitness and an exceptional body control in order for the participants to master keeping their balance.
History:
In Germany, Indoor-trial has been subject to competitions only for a short while. It has been organised by federations since 1998. Meanwhile, World Championships are being carried out on a regular basis.
