Duisburg can boast of two botanical gardens. The larger of the two (260 hectares) lies in the suburb of Hamborn. It contains several large aquaria and specially heated pavillions. The smaller (195 hectares) is situated just below the Kaiserberg, the highest point in the city (78.33m.). From here you can enjoy the view over the nearby zoo and the meadowlands of the Ruhr.
